Volunteer

Cat Feeding/Cleaning: 8am-10am everyday, we get to the shelter to feed the awaiting kitties their breakfast. Afterwards, we go through to clean litter boxes, sweep, mop, organize, and reset all the cat rooms for the day.

Dog Kennel Feeding/Cleaning: 8am-10am everyday, the dogs get breakfast and are rotated outside. We clean up their kennels and get them ready for their day.

Animal Socialization and Cleaning: From 12pm-4pm while the staff is busy doing vet runs and adoptions, you are welcome to come in to play with the cats or take the dogs on walks on the maintained trails behind the shelter. It helps get these animals socialized and one step closer to being ready to find their forever family! There are also always organizational projects and cleaning that we would love to have your help with.

  * To work with the dogs, you must be 18+ years of age.

If you are looking for community service hours, we are able to sign off on the given forms. Some restrictions may apply.

If you are looking to bring a group to the shelter ( reading group, after-school program, church, volunteer, etc.) or looking to visit for educational purposes please reach out to the shelter- we would be happy to set up a time for you all to come in to socialize, help, and learn about shelter work.
